INTERNSHIP: SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP

Position: Social Media Intern 
Type: Paid Internship, Full-time (Mon - Thurs / 9 AM - 5 PM)
Duration: September 2022 - December 2022

The Sound Initiative [TSI] is a non-governmental, non-profit that trains young Cambodian artists and producers. Our role is to support local talent so they become the future leaders, and role models of the Cambodian music industry. You can learn more about TSI on our website.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Main duties include overseeing social media presence, creating content and managing the online community.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, create and publish content on TSI’s social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

• Work closely with in-house Content Creator to curate and manage all digital content (music, images, video, written and audio/podcast).

• Tracking social media’s performance

• Daily social media’s community management

• Other tasks requested by the Social Media Intern’s supervisor

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• New Graduate with Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (Communications, Journalism, similar field)

• Native Khmer language skills. 

• High-level English language skills. 

• Excellent written verbal communication skills

• Good interpersonal and presentation skills

• Self-starter, interest in music is a bonus

• Photoshop, Illustrator, graphic design or photography experience is a bonus
